the PAN ® -Company has full sales, project development services,
engineering, fabrication, installation and project management
capabilities.
The projects are self-performed in our own facility.
PAN ® works in most instances as a specialty contractor.
Aesthetics, performance, structural efficiency and budget
constraints are all to be considered in achieving optimal integration
including exterior cladding.
PAN ® has extensive experience with glass, acrylic, fabric, metal
panels, skylights, metal decking and many other types of exterior
materials.
The three-dimensional structural PAN ®- - SPACE STRUCTURE
System consists of ball and tubes with solid steel spherical nodes and
round pipe members.
It is prefabricated, has factory finished structural components with
nearly unlimited possibilities in geometry, form and scale.
The modular system meets the design challenge for
single layer grids, double layer grids,
main entrance canopies, fully cantilevered canopies,
shopping malls, music pavilions, event centers,
suspended ceilings, exhibition structures for presentations,
border crossing canopies,
advertising towers,
large free span buildings such as assembly halls, airport passenger
terminals, swimming halls,
distribution centers, sports arenas, stadium roofs,
barrel vaults, domes, towers, folded plates, cable systems,
membrane structures, antenna reflectors,
tensegrity structures.
The structures can be constructed of materials notably:
Steel, aluminum, timber, bamboo, polymer composites.

Otto K. Panholz invented after college, during his 3 year German Apprenticeship as structural steel fitter, the
'Mepan' space frame node in 1958.
